Performing Music Ensembles

A number of curricular and extra-curricular music ensembles are available for Badin High School students, alumni, and local parochial students.  Whether your interest is in high-energy, competition marching band or a more traditional concert band or concert choir setting, or even a contemporary jazz ensemble, Badin has a group for you!

Concert Band, Marching Band Shine in Orlando!

On Friday, April 13 the Ram marching Band performed in the EPCOT Wordfest March at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.  Band members were named "honorary cast members"  and gave a thrilling performance, marching from Italy to Morocco.  Barbara Doerflein, Disney's Guest Talent Coordinator remarked that the Ram Band's performance "added to the magic for which we [Disney] are known."

The next day, the Badin Concert Band performed in the All-American Music Festival, where they earned Second Place and a rating of Excellent.

Marching Band 1st Place at Band-O-Rama!

The Ram Marching Band received the 1st Place award in Class C at the 30th Annual Hamilton Band-O-Rama on Saturday, October 14.  This marks the first time in school history that the band has received a "Best In Class" award in OMEA competition.  Great job, Rams!!
