Mr. Michael R. Moore is the current Director of Music at Badin High School, a position which he has held since 2001. Mr. Moore holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education from Bowling Green State University, and is currently working toward a Master of Music Education degree from Vandercook College of Music in Chicago.
Previously, Mr. Moore taught in the Hamilton City School District and the Edgerton Local Schools, both in Ohio. He has also held various teaching positions with the Hamilton High School and Fairfield High School Marching Bands. In 2004, Mr. Moore was named a Nobel Educator of Distinction by the National Society of High School Scholars, and was named to Who's Who Among American Teachers in 2005 and 2006. Additionally, Mr. Moore was inducted into the National Honor Roll's Outstanding American Teachers in 2005 and 2006 and to the Who's Who in America 2007 and 2008 Editions.
Mr. Moore is also active in the Hamilton community through his service at the West Side Baptist Church, where he was ordained as a Deacon in 2002 and serves in various capacities as a teacher and musician.
