About the Music Boosters

The Badin Music Boosters organization supports all Badin High School music activities through financial, logistical and other means.  All parents of Badin music students are members of the Boosters.  Booster officers are elected by the group to serve one-year terms.  Meetings generally occur on the second Wednesday of each month and take place from 7:00 until 9:00 pm in the Faculty Dining Room at Badin High School.

Probably the most visible activity of the Boosters is fundraising.  The Boosters organize and operate a number of fundraisers each year, from sports concessions to hosting dances such as the Mom Prom and Father-Daughter Dances to merchandise sales.  These fundraising activities fund nearly 100% of the annual Badin music budget.

The Boosters are also involved in the planning and executuion of music performances.  They construct and transport props for the Marching Band, design and make costumes for the Color Guard, and provide refreshments at concerts, among countless other activities.

Archdiocesan Volunteer Requirements

All volunteers within the Archdioocese of Cincinnati are required to view the Decree On Child Protection and "regular" volunteers are required to be fingerprinted.  There are two permanent fingerprinting sites in our area:

Figerprinting should be free to you (it should be billed to the school).  Bring a driver's liscense or other proper identifiaction at the time of fingerprinting.

A viewing of the Decree on Child Protection will be scheduled for an upcoming Booster meeting.
